Shift Supervisor (Plastics Molding) (West Virginia)
Our client is a leading supplier of specialty chemicals for the automotive industry. They operate their own packaging operations with plastic bottle manufacturing and filling lines.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is seeking a shift supervisor for their plastics molding operations. The shift supervisor will oversee activities of workers on the plastics molding production lines. They are responsible for setup and adjustments to production equipment, as well as inspection of finished products to assure compliance with specifications.
The shift supervisor also are expected to make recommendations for improvements in production methods and procedures, as well as to suggest possible adjustments and upgrades to machinery to improve productivity, efficiency and quality.
The shift supervisor are also responsible for training of workers, establishing production goals and targets, as well as mentoring and motivating production workers.
This position is responsible for production on the 3rd Shift (night shift).
This highly visible position is ideal for the production supervision professional who has experience in plastics molding, and who is seeking an opportunity to contribute to the success of an industry leader.
This position is located in West Viriginia .
REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree (AA or AS)
2+ years experience in production supervision
Experience in plastics molding or related production.
Willingness to work 3rd Shift.
