Experienced Door Hosts/Security in Port Warwick (Kelly’s Tavern Port Warwick)

Kelly's Tavern has always taken great pride in providing a comfortable, pleasant, and safe environment for it's patrons for over 28 years. As such, we take our door host candidates very seriously. We're looking for level-headed, quick thinking, and diligent individuals, preferrably with experience in restaurant/bar security. Our motto is "speak softly but carry a big stick." Essentially you'll handle situations in a diplomatic way, "killing with kindness," and not aggression to deal with potentially volatile situations. WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR COMBATIVE INDIVIDUALS!

Duties include: properly indentifying patrons as they enter during the late hours (usually no earlier than 10pm), constantly monitoring guests during your shift looking for any intoxication/aggressive behavior, removing any indiviuals showing signs of aggression or intoxication, calling the police in the event of a large scale altercation, seating tables when a server is not available, emptying trash cans at the end of the night, making sure the building is secure before you leave.
