- Dismount and mount any type of tire on drop center, semi-drop center and multi-piece rims.

1st Assistant Manager (Laurel, Mississippi )
SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the Store Manager in order to achieve or exceed planned sales and profits. In the absence of the Store Manager, has the responsibility for the overall operation of the store by performing the following duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Assist Store Manager in all areas of store operations
• To be knowledgeable of company policies and procedures and assist the Store Manager in enforcement
• In absence of Store Manager, be aware of and complete all daily tasks without disrupting normal store operations
• Report any issues with associates or operations of the store to the Store Manager
• Ensure that all cash handling procedures are followed at all times per company policy
• Approves checks, refunds and voids in absence of the Store Manager
• Responsible for the timely and safe deposit of all store funds in a designated bank
• Assists Store Manager with completion of any tasks requested according to company guidelines
• Participate in monthly store meetings with store associates
• Responsible for proper receipt of and processing of store freight shipments
• Must secure store keys at all times
• Responsible for proper processing of all daily and weekly paperwork and balancing of registers
• Takes all markdowns and price adjustments in a timely manner according to company policy
• Responsible for store physical inventory results
• Aware of causes of inventory shrinkage, insures all loss prevention policies are followed
• Ensures all actions are taken and implemented to insure acceptable inventory shrink results for the store
• Maintains high audit scores as acceptable per company policy
• Maintain clean, organized store and stockroom in accordance with current merchandising directives and standards
• Abide by and set example for all company policies, procedures and safety issues
• Maintains high standards of customer service including greeting customers and efficiently and accurately recording all transactions
• Responsible for efficient use of budgeted payroll dollars/hours and utilizing associates with flexible availability
• Maintains accurately all logs and documentation required by Operations, Merchandising, Human Resources and Loss Prevention departments
• Enforces procedures and policies which uphold the efficiency of the store including, but not limited to customer layaways, customer refunds and exchanges
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma, 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand documents such as general correspondence, cash reports, markdown reports and office procedures/memos. Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees of the company. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

After three or more years of working in retail, you're ready for the next step. Following successful completion of the two-week training period, you'll be where the action is, assisting the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store. Whenever the Store Manager is unavailable, you'll take the stage, leading the store and ensuring all goals are met.
Job Responsibilities

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• 2-4 years of retail experience as an Assistant Manager.
• 3-5 years of retail experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
