Comp:
$20.30 (min) – $28.07 (75th percentile)
Shift Diff’s
Nights - $3.54
Weekends -$1.67
Weekend nights stacked = $5.21
Relocation –
Direct bill (pack and move) up to $6k – Requires 1 year commitment
Taxable allowance 4k – Requires 1 year commitment
If candidate takes relocation and taxable allowance it requires 2 year commitment.
Professional ladder:
Level 3 – immediately (5%)
Level 4 – 1 years of exp (5%)
Level 5 – 2 years of exp (10%)

Snow Removal 2010 – 2011 Season (Kansas City Metro Area)
I have two (2) types of snow removal positions available for the 2010 - 2011 season. These positions involve shoveling and removing snow from sidewalks and then treating them with one of several types of chemicals.Sub-Contractor Description
Position 1: These positions report to a specific location to begin their shift (shopping center or chemical depot) and the crew remains at that location for the duration of the storm until released.
Position 2: These positions report to a specific location (1st property or chemical depot) to begin their shift and then travel to additional properties on a designated route and re-run the route for the duration of the storm until released. Generally speaking, the routes are not more than 5 miles in long.
Sub-Contractor Responsibilities
Sub-contractors MUST have a truck, provide their own fuel and furnish their own commercial spreader. Crews MUST be able to report to their respective properties within one (1) hour of being notified. These positions are Sub-Contractor positions and as such each individual will be required to complete a Form W-9 for 2010 and 2011 and will receive a Form 1099-MISC for all payments made during 2010 and 2011. Individuals are solely responsible for their own income tax reporting and withholding and those actions are solely between the individual and the IRS. INDIVIDUALS MUST BE ELIGIBLE AND BE ABLE TO PROVE THAT THEY ARE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE U.S. and will be required to sign a Sub-Contractor Agreement. The driver of each crew will need to possess and substantiate that they have a valid drivers license and at least liability insurance on the vehicle that is involved in the snow removal operation.
Contractor Responsibilities
I will provide the sub-contractors with the routes and properties, chemicals, shovels and buckets. Payment is generally made within 48 hours of the conclusion of the storm and is made by check. I understand that it is tough to think about snow when it is 90 degrees but It is my intention to begin filling these positions during September.
These postions are perfect for owners of small business (concrete, roofing, painting, masonry, landscaping, etc..) with employees that are either slow during the winter months or can not work outside during inclimate weather to keep your guys working. Several of the properties and/or routes require 4 to 6 people at all times.
I have routes available in Shawnee, Olathe, Overland Park, Lenexa, Prairie Village, Fairway, Mission and on the Plaza and based on the last 5 years, the shifts can range from as little as 2 hours to as many as 18 depending on the storm.
