Perfect Part Time Job (Upstream-Phillips Place)

One of Charlotte's top upscale restaurants is looking for highly organized individual to expedite 5 shifts a week. This position is fast paced, high energy and will require someone to lead the kitchen on a nightly basis. This is a perfect part time job in that each shift is three to four hours per night. Field Rep / Merchandising (Charlotte, NC)

Field Representative
NEEDED IMMEDIATELY

Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $11-$13 hour depending on experience

Hours: Overnight hours working from 8 pm to 6 am
(2nd & 3rd Shift mostly) – working an average of 25-35 hours per week

*We are looking for individuals to do project work and help with display set-up at home improvement store chain.

Qualifications:
- Willing to travel and work overnight as many as 5 nights / week ($25 / night per diem, lodging paid)
- Reliable transportation for traveling (reimbursement for gas)
- Available to work M-F
- Experience in construction and/or retail/reset-merchandising (carpentry, drywall, general labor, hardware/home improvement, other)
- Experience in managing small groups of people, helpful, but not required.

Basic Hand Tools Needed:
- Rubber Mallet and/or hammer, screwdriver, box cutter, power drill and bits, tape measure, small crow bar, and gloves.

Manufacturing Material Handler (Westinghouse)

Busy Westinghouse area Manufacturing plant is in need of several EXPERIENCED Material Handlers for their 12 hour shifts. Must be willing to work Night shift. You must have a High School diploma or GED; previous experience; stable work history; able to work every other weekend; pass a drug test and have a criminal background performed (no felonies ever; no violent crimes; and minimum misdemeanors). Please do not respond if you cannot meet these requirements.

You must have previous experience working in a crowded, congested manufacturing plant using a forklift. They will also look at someone with only warehouse experience, but again, must have proven work history in a crowded, congested warehouse. This will not be a "run and gun" type environment! (No dock workers, order selectors or third party warehouse type people desired).

Job Duties are:

• Using a standard forklift or working manually, you will move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places within the plant. Supply all necessary components to machines so machine operators can complete the finished product. Remove all unused components upon completion of order.

• Remove finished goods and unused components from machines and move to designated staging area outside the production building.

• Stack skids, pallets, or gaylords in designated areas.

• Use hand tools to remove strapping and open crates.

• Assist process technicians with machine color changes.

• Pump plastic resin from railcars to resin silos. Clean empty railcars to prepare cars for pick-up.

• Change machine resin supply from one silo to another silo as requested by Process Tech or Production Supervisor.

• Maintain accurate paperwork on silo board (dates, railcar numbers, current silo levels, etc.).

• Print labels for finished goods, material, etc. Make computer entries regarding the movement of materials, color, etc. to and from warehouse storage.

Experienced Line Cook (Charlotte)

We need an experienced kitchen line cook.

Grill, Sauté, Pantry, Fry, and Dish; all of these stations will be your goal to master as quick as possible. The more you have knowledge of these positions the better the pay gets. There will be tests given
Must be willing to LEARN and able to learn quickly.

All kitchen staff will be cross trained on all stations and every one helps clean up at the end of each shift. Must have dependable vehicle and able to work day and night shifts.

Once you are able to cook on all stations there will be an increase in your hourly rate.

GENERAL PURPOSE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
*Audit, balance and report on all food and beverage outlets (e.g. restaurants, lounges, banquets, room service) cash and credit operations to include but not limited to checks, over/short figures/tally sheets, deposits, counts, house charges, promotional materials, postings, etc. and reset all registers to ensure accurate, timely information.
*Audit, balance, post and report on the front desk to include but not limited to; room charges, phone calls, zero balance folios, corrections, adjustments, taxes, disputed charges, over/short figures, deposits, etc., to ensure accuracy and verify proper cash handling procedures are followed.
*Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for preparation of daily reports.
*Balance and close all bank ticket codes, daily.
*Run night audit final after insuring all revenues are in balance nightly.
*Perform the duties of a Front Desk Clerk including express checkouts.
*Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
*We maintain a drug-free work environment and complete pre-employment drug and criminal background/credit checks.
