SUBSTATION ELECTRIC JOURNEYMAN – TRAVEL POSITION (NATIONWIDE)
We are seeking hard working, motivated, experienced Substation Electric Jounreyman to join our team for a temporary, contract position that is in response to a potential labor dispute.Pay Rate: $25 per hour -- we generally work an 84 hour work week.
Perdiem: $35 per day -- this is paid bi-weekly on payroll.
Travel to the site and back home at the completion of the assignment is provided.
Lodging is provided for the duration of the assignment.
DEPARTMENT: ELECTRICAL SUBSTATION
DUTIES: Under general directive supervision of the electrical substation manager, foreman, or
working foreman.
Directs and works with apprentices, skilled and semi-skilled workers in performing a variety of duties incident to the construction, maintenance, and installation of control equipment, testing, and repair of equipment, transformers, motors, etc.
Installs, maintains, and makes repairs to air break switches, oil switches, transformers, power circuit breakers, regulators, lightning arrestors, network protectors, circuit switchers, cables, switchboard wiring, and miscellaneous electrical equipment.
Maintains auto, power, and street lighting transformers including the setting of street lighting controls; assists in the installation of conduit, raceways, or capacitor banks; periodically cleans
and maintains substation switchgear, breakers, and associated equipment; samples, tests, and filters oil from transformers, regulators, and breakers. Handles all gases used in substation equipment.
Performs in the inspection overhaul and testing of transformers, step or induction type voltage regulators, motors, power circuit breakers, reactors, capacitor banks, and network protectors.
Performs in the testing of oil from transformers, breakers, street lighting subs, and voltage regulators; filters new and used insulating oil. Also performs tests on insulating gases.
Takes preventative measures in maintaining and protecting substation steel from corrosion.
Performs periodical testing, recharging, and maintenance of substation service batteries.
Obtains proper clearance on equipment for maintenance or construction work and places tags
on equipment accordingly after coordinating with the proper personnel.
Provides safety training and is responsible for the general safety of personnel and in
administering first aid to injured persons when necessary; may work on energized lines or
equipment involving hazard and requiring caution and the use of safety devices such as rubber
protective equipment and hot line tools; conforms with all safety policies as established by the
Company.
Instructs personnel in the proper and safe way to perform their duties and instructs and trains new personnel in the use of tools, equipment, and proper procedure.

contacts .
Serves as back‐up to Sr. level Meter Readers, as needed and/or assigned

Janitorial position full time (Beckley Area)

Tasks include basic cleaning of restrooms, and floors throughout the store. Sweeping, mopping, and running a buffing/scrubbing machine are jobs you will perform daily. Experience in a walk behind auto scrubber is a definite advantage, but not necessary, as it is easy to learn from one of our trained professionals. Hours are definitely going to be 7 NIGHTS per week, but depending on which store you work in, will determine your exact hours. A full work night will only be from 4-7 hours. TRAVEL POSITION – JOURNEYMAN LINEMAN (NATIONWIDE)

DUTIES: Under general directive supervision of working foreman or district
foreman depending on assignment and location.
Directs apprentices, skilled, and semi-skilled workers engaged in the
construction, operation, and maintenance of overhead transmission and
distribution lines and substations; may perform various duties by being assigned to investigating and correcting customer complaints; installing or cutting out service or meters; setting special meters as voltage, current, demand, or others; maintenance of street lights or other related duties which are consistent with his qualifications. Receives work instructions of a general nature and performs all assignments with established procedures.
Performs construction duties by erecting and setting poles and towers; attaching necessary crossarms, transformers, circuit breakers, cut-outs, lightning arrestors, anchors, guys; stringing, sagging, insulating, attaching, and connecting conductors; installation of underground systems including circuit, laterals, vaults, and grounds; installation of underground cable, transformers, switch boxes, and similar equipment.
Installs or may assist in cable construction by testing and tracing circuits in power systems; makes various types of connections between electrical conductors; insulates conductors properly for the voltage conditions under which they are to operate; seals cable joints within a waterproof housing such as lead sleeve wiped onto the lead-sheathed cables entering the joint; bonds and grounds lead-sheathed cables of all voltages; makes electrical connections between conductors and various types of equipment such as transformers, potheads, and terminal boxes; as required, may weatherproof or fireproof cables.
Performs various distribution duties by testing for and locating electrical
trouble on circuits; makes permanent or temporary repairs to restore services as quickly as is consistent with safety; restores equipment to normal operating condition; patrols and inspects equipment, making minor repairs and reporting equipment in need of major repairs; makes emergency cut-ins and cut-outs.
Installs and removes lightening arrestors; fuses disconnecting switches, oil and air breakers switches, and related overhead line devices.
Installs and services transformers; tests transformers in service by induction coil devices and makes replacement when necessary.
Installs street lighting equipment and replaces cables, poles, conduits, and
auxiliary equipment.
Instructs personnel in the proper and safe way to perform their duties and
instructs and trains new men in the use of tools and equipment; provides safety training instructions and is responsible for the general safety of personnel and in the administering of first aid to injured persons when necessary; caution and use of safety devices such as rubber protective equipment and hot-line tools; conforms with all safety rules and policies as established by the Company.

Directs apprentices, skilled and semi-skilled workers in a variety of duties by installing, testing, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on relays, relay schemes, and control circuits throughout the transmission, generation, and distribution system.
Cleans, checks, and physically examines relays; electrically calibrates and sets relays in accordance with settings received from Engineering.
Makes electrical calibrations so as to plot operating curves of the relays. Makes tests to check polarity, ratio, and performance of current and potential transformers.
Maintains, tests, and repairs relays. Installs cable, conduit, cable tray, and panels.
Installs new relay equipment or may replace parts as required; connects relay and various electrical equipment testing mechanisms to a test board to simulate operating conditions; compares manufacturer's specifications of relays prescribed function to determine if exact sequence of operations are obtained. Makes necessary adjustments or repairs.
Cooperates with other personnel in testing relay-tripping action. Verifies proper operation of control and indication circuits.
Adjusts relays by tightening or loosening nuts, bolts, tension springs, or other parts until readings indicate relay is performing according to specifications, utilizing a thorough knowledge of the function, operation, and construction of a large variety of complex and delicate relays. Also has knowledge of electronic components and skills necessary to test, calibrate, and
maintain solid state relays.
Obtains proper clearance and performs switching operations on equipment for repair, maintenance, or construction work and places tags on equipment accordingly after coordinating with proper personnel.
Performs shop duties in the repair, testing, overhaul, and calibration of malfunctioning equipment; prepares records of maintenance and inspection and submits to supervisor.

recording oscillographs, signal generators, frequency meters, vacuum tube voltmeters,
ohmmeters, and other test equipment.
Diagnoses trouble and must be skilled in procedural methods of dismantling, reconstructing,
and repairing electronic and related communications equipment.
Prepares records of maintenance and repairs and periodically submits reports to supervisor for
permanent records; files F.C.C. reports in compliance with federal requirements.
Instructs personnel in the safe and proper way to perform their duties and in the use of tools and
equipment; provides safety training instructions and is responsible for the general safety of
personnel and in administering first aid to injured persons when necessary; may work in areas
requiring caution and use of safety devices and safety procedures; conforms with all safety
policies and work standards established by the Company; complies with apprentice
requirements in the training of apprentices.
Performs and directs work on microwave or radio towers.

Casual mail handlers perform manual labor in an industrial environment. A variety of machinery, conveyor belts and special equipment for moving heavy loads is used. LOSS MITIGATION (UP TO THREE ATTEMPTS PER CUSTOMER)
An "loss mitigation" assignment involves up to three attempts to make contact with the customer. Some of these assignments have a goal of placing the customer on the phone with our client (like a field call), while the majority involve picking up documentation from the customer to send back to one our clients to assist in a loan modification program.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS OF A FIELD REPRESENTATIVE

*Ensures accurate sales, customer and employee data is transmitted to the Home Office by properly completing the POS opening and closing procedures.
*Ensures studio is properly stocked with supplies and merchandise by monitoring supply levels and accurately completing scheduled inventory and cycle counts.

*Maintains studio staff that performs to the company expectations by effectively recruiting, selecting, interviewing, orienting and training qualified candidates.
*Fosters a professional, productive, fun and rewarding studio environment that is free from any form of harassment and other forms of inappropriate behaviors.

Customer Service:
*Ensures exceptional customer service is delivered to every customer by regularly observing the quality of service. Provides coaching and training to improve service standards, taking appropriate/corrective action as necessary.
*Ensures quality product is delivered to every customer by communicating, training and coaching photography and production standards.
*Provides an exceptional studio experience to our customers that are consistent with brand standards.
*Makes customers feel welcome and comfortable in the studio by greeting them with a friendly and enthusiastic smile.
Marketing:
*Maintains a plan of action to ensure their studio participates in local marketing as required by the company, to include telemarketing, StarSearching, and Studio Tours.
*Partners with the Marketing Outreach Coordinator/Specialist and utilizes the appropriate local marketing resources to find opportunities in the Mall and community and plans events to drive new business into their studio.
*Manages all aspects of the Mobile Photography efforts by achieving or exceeding company goals in scheduling and completing photography sessions/tasks.
*Ensure that the studio has a qualified associated designated to manage the outreach effort.
*Touch base weekly with the Marketing Outreach Coordinator/Specialist and provide the support needed to execute outreach efforts
Job Qualifications
*Experience working with young children and their parents.
*Proven ability to generate sales.
*Strong customer service skills.
*Strong organizational skills.
*Strong leadership skills.
*·Proven ability to recruit, hire and train qualified candidates.
*Ability to multi-task and demonstrate composure under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
*Availability to work a flexible schedule, including required nights and weekends at a minimum of 48 hours a week to meet the demands of the business and comply with studio scheduling policies.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Demonstrated knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications with beginning level skills in Excel.
*Familiarity with intranet/internet navigation.
*Ability to meet travel requirements.
*Professional photography and processing experience preferred.
*Degree or some college, a plus.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through completion of a high school diploma and three to five year's management experience in the retail or service industry.
