FIELD LEADER

1.0 PURPOSE OF POSITION & REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position is established supervise small work teams, which have been assigned to set up displays in retail business operations according to specifications provided by manufacturers. This is a working supervisory position.
This position reports to: Territory Manager
Reporting to this position: None

2.0 REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)

Supervisory skills and experience is required along with working in the areas of retail operations. The ability to follow instructions and diagrams such as Plan-O-Grams is an essential component of work carried out by this person. Basic construction knowledge will be beneficial. The ability to use hand tools is a necessary. The minimum of a High School education is required. Proven advanced education beyond high school will be beneficial.

3.0 ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS
3.1 Responsibilities
This position is responsible for:
• Providing daily supervision, guidance and training for the work team assigned in regard to specific required work responsibilities in a manner, which provides for maximum productivity with optimized quality results.
• Placing manufacturer products on shelves within retail establishments in a neat and orderly manner in strict accordance to specifications, Plan-O-Grams, pictures or other instructions provided.
• Placing Point of Purchase (POP) information, signage, stickers or other required materials in accordance with specific guidelines to aid in merchandizing manufacturer's products.
• Communicating with the Field Superintendent and other Beam Team representatives as may be required to receive and carryout special instructions for completing the assembly and placement of products for merchandising.
• Determination of specific issues such as missing products, incorrect products, or any circumstance which would not allow timely completion of work activity according to plan.
• Following all company and customer safety practices without exception.
• Assuring all employees are properly trained on standard safety practices along with specific customer safety practices and that safety discussions are held at the beginning of each project.
• Completing appropriate records of activity, which may be required including but not limited to "Sign Offs", pictures, reports, and other paperwork as may be required.
• Removing stock or readjusting the position of stock currently on display according to plans.
• Communicating with the customer representative(s) in a supportive and professional manner at all times.
• Providing periodic formal and informal performance development feedback as may be required for each work team employee.
• Coordinating the employee time recording process and assuring time information is properly formatted and transmitted to the Division Administrative Manager.
• Overseeing the work area safety and cleanliness at all times and providing direction as appropriate to maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
3.3 Relationships with Others
• Demonstrates ability to interact with customers and other team members in a business like and professional manner.
• Understands the principles and efficiencies of teamwork.
• Communicates in a positive and supportive manner with the Field Superintendent and other Beam Team supervisors to maximize the overall business effectiveness.

3.4 Physical Demands and Work Environment
Works in retail environments and will be required to have a clean and neat appearance at all times with presentable clothing. For safety, the wearing of jewelry will be minimized. This person will be involved in repetitive bending, standing, and walking positions and will be required to pull, push, and lift manufacturer materials up to 70 pounds without assistance from other persons. The ability to work nights and weekends will be necessary and extensive travel is required away from home. Travel may extend several weeks at a time. Having reliable transportation available to get to work locations on time is essential.

3.5 Judgment and Decision Making
• Use good judgment when assigning tasks to workers based on the employee's observed or known skills and abilities.
• Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning in investigating and solving simple problems or issues and in carrying out all work associated with assigned retail service applications.

• Participates in project planning for each extended term client activity along with "Milestone" meetings to measure case progress and effectiveness.

The person in this position must be a self-starter and will be trusted to work in an independent manner and take the required leadership role required by this position. They not only maintain an awareness of the current work in progress, but are always looking ahead to the next phase of service work required. Custodian (Janitorial) Site Manager in the Tallahassee area to start as inmediately. Must have Janitorial Experience and Management Experience

1.0 PURPOSE OF POSITION & REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position is established supervise small work teams, which have been assigned to set up displays in retail business operations according to specifications provided by manufacturers. This is a working supervisory position.

2.0 REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)

Supervisory skills and experience is required along with working in the areas of retail operations. The ability to follow instructions and diagrams such as Plan-O-Grams is an essential component of work carried out by this person. Basic construction knowledge will be beneficial. The ability to use hand tools is a necessary. The minimum of a High School education is required. Proven advanced education beyond high school will be beneficial.

3.0 ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS
3.1 Responsibilities
This position is responsible for:
• Providing daily supervision, guidance and training for the work team assigned in regard to specific required work responsibilities in a manner, which provides for maximum productivity with optimized quality results.
• Placing manufacturer products on shelves within retail establishments in a neat and orderly manner in strict accordance to specifications, Plan-O-Grams, pictures or other instructions provided.
• Placing Point of Purchase (POP) information, signage, stickers or other required materials in accordance with specific guidelines to aid in merchandizing manufacturer's products.
• Communicating with the Field Superintendent and other Beam Team representatives as may be required to receive and carryout special instructions for completing the assembly and placement of products for merchandising.
• Determination of specific issues such as missing products, incorrect products, or any circumstance which would not allow timely completion of work activity according to plan.
• Following all company and customer safety practices without exception.
• Assuring all employees are properly trained on standard safety practices along with specific customer safety practices and that safety discussions are held at the beginning of each project.
• Completing appropriate records of activity, which may be required including but not limited to "Sign Offs", pictures, reports, and other paperwork as may be required.
• Removing stock or readjusting the position of stock currently on display according to plans.
• Communicating with the customer representative(s) in a supportive and professional manner at all times.
• Providing periodic formal and informal performance development feedback as may be required for each work team employee.
• Coordinating the employee time recording process and assuring time information is properly formatted and transmitted to the Division Administrative Manager.
• Overseeing the work area safety and cleanliness at all times and providing direction as appropriate to maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.

This person will be involved in repetitive bending, standing, and walking positions and will be required to pull, push, and lift manufacturer materials up to 70 pounds without assistance from other persons. The ability to work nights and weekends will be necessary and extensive travel is required away from home. Travel may extend several weeks at a time. Having reliable transportation available to get to work locations on time is essential.
