Description:Project Monitors & Air Sampling Technicians needed for asbestos abatement projects. Full-Time & Part-Time positions are available.
Duties:
Provide project monitoring and air sampling services; monitor abatement contractors work to ensure it complies with project documents, US EPA, and NY DOL laws; conduct air sampling as required per the project requirements following EPA and DOL requirements. Work hours are from 7:30-4:30, but may change based on the projects needs; must be flexible, and work nights and weekends if needed.
Requirements:
Experience is desired, but not required; training is available. Basic math and computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office programs a plus. Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid NY State drivers' license for certification, and your own car.

Duties & Responsibilities:1. Effectively slices and cuts a variety of meat products and prepares recipes as necessary. Always follows all approved recipes while ensuring proper butchering/cooking techniques and the highest quality standards.
2. Always demonstrates the ability to apply advanced butchering /cooking techniques in order to produce creative cuts/food dishes (i.e. knife skills, carving skills, forcemeats, etc.).

4. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of sanitation procedures which are consistently applied and ensures that those procedures are followed by other employees.

6. Continually demonstrates the ability to instruct less knowledgeable employees on proper use of kitchen equipment while ensuring the highest safety standards.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Supervisory experience in the motor carrier industry is preferred.
This position is responsible for supervising unionized employees in the loading and unloading of freight to ensure timely delivery and pickup of shipments. Previous experience in motor carrier supervision, along with city inbound and outbound operations is preferred. Applicants must be willing to work nights and weekends. Good leadership ability, character, initiative, people skills and ability to motivate others are needed for this managerial position.

Banquet Supervisor (Best Western Plus Carrier Circle )
Our Banquet Supervisor will work closely with our Food and Beverage Director and Assistant Director to ensure all aspects of the events are taken care of, run smoothly and guests are happy with the results. The Banquet Supervisor will also oversee the banquet staff and assist when needed.Job Description:
• Responsible for supervising the activities of all food servers, special events porters and
bartenders in the convention center during assigned shift.
• Checks all food servers' check lists and fills out appropriate paperwork.
• Continually monitors functions, which they are assigned and informs Management of any problems,
which they are not able to correct.
• Works with kitchen to ensure that food items are appropriately cooked/delivered in a timely
manner.
• Resolves Guest complaints or refers the problem to Management if unable to settle. Informs
Management of all Guest complaints.
• Performs the duties of a food server and special events porter as assigned or required and
assuring all guests are properly attended to.
Job Requirements:
• Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to count money and make correct change.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to ring in orders and settle checks on Point of Sale system.
• Previous Food & Beverage server experience a plus.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Must be available nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, twist, reach / carry tray above the shoulder.
• Constantly required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Sometimes required to lift up to 100 pounds.
