QuarterLine Consulting Services (QuarterLine) provides professional health care staffing services to military hospitals and health clinics across the United States. We are currently seeking an ICU Nurse for a full time position at Travis Air Force Base in California.
The ICU Nurse will manage the nursing care of criticall ill patients in accordance with estabilised policies, procedures and protocols. Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assess patients' conditions for potential or life‑threatening crises; administer prescribed medications; obtain patient history and pertinent family history; document plan of care and care given in patient's clinical record; carry out prescribed physician orders and document in patient medical record; give inhalation therapy treatments, with knowledge of medications utilized in this treatment and reactions; interpret cardiac rhythms and their implications (Critical Care Unit, Emergency Room); operate defibrillator, EKG machine and cardiac monitor; care for patients with Swan‑Ganz catheters, arterial lines and mechanical ventilators (Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Room, ER, and Newborn); and participate in Discharge Planning as appropriate.

The nurse will work 14 shifts in a 28 days period and one on-call per month. These are rotating shifts and every 3 months there is a rotation to days or nights.

Qualifications:
Have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) by the American Heart Association.
In addition to BCLS, certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required.
Be a graduate of an accredited National League of Nursing (NLN) school.
Minimum of two years experience with at least one year in a critical care area of four or more beds. One year of experience must have occurred within the last five years.

The Associate Team Leader in Training (FASTL) is partly responsible for overall store operations. This is a training position for Associate Store Team Leader, however candidates are selected for their potential to be the the Store Team Leader.
