SUMMARY

The Director of Nursing (DON) shall be a Registered Nurse who is responsible for the overall direction of home health clinical services. 4.Provides those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.

6.Prepares clinical and progress notes and summaries of care.
7.Informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the patient's condition and needs.
8.Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
9.Assists in the development of organization goals. Develops, recommends, and administers agency policies and procedures.
10.Assesses competency of clinical staff and ensures staff is assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of a client's care.
11.Supervises, educates and coaches other nursing personnel.
12.Plans and implements in-service and training programs.
13.Conducts performance evaluation of medical care-giving staff.
14.Oversees the maintenance of client clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.
15.Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
16.Assures compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of organization personnel.
17.Identifies and participates in performance improvement activities.
18.Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care. Shares information with appropriate organization personnel.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

1.Registered nurse with current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state in which the care is being provided.
2.Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program.
3.Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience with at least half of that time working in home health or related health care organization. Minimum three to five years of direct employee supervision.
4.Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct staff.
5.Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills
6.Comply with accepted professional standards of practice.
7.Proven ability to build quality and implement improvements within the operation.
8.Excellent interpersonal skills.

UWM/MPS Special Education Teaching Internship Program

The UWM/MPS Special Education Internship Program is an innovative program that prepares special education teachers. Program participants work in Milwaukee Public Schools as teachers (with full teacher salary and benefits) while earning certification at UWM. Successful completion of the Internship Program leads to eligibility for Wisconsin teacher certification in special education. The teacher certification programs associated with the UWM Internship Program are:

truck driver class A (Milwaukee)

We are in need of 2 Drivers at this time.
One for days and one for nights.. Working 5 days or nights per week.. Weekends are optional.
The night driver will be driving my truck which is usually back by 4pm, and can usually start any time depending if there is a pick up appt.

Key Responsibilities:

Exemplify and promote Extreme Customer Service to clients and co-workers

Works nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, as well as very early mornings and late nights
Participate in 24-hour emergency on call system for assigned area
Assume duties of co-workers throughout company including supervisor when assigned

Attend AAVC training classes.

Summary of Experience:

High School or GED. Some college preferred. AAVC may consider equivalent work experience in lieu of academic credentials
Minimum of one year (1) year serving as a customer service agent in a similar industry (preferably in a Five Star Five Diamond hotel)
Background in music, recording, audio-visual, computers and/or proficient in related technology highly preferred
