ARL TRANSPORT OWNER OPERATORS (LOUISVILLE & AREAS)
We are looking to hire many owner operators for our work load out of Louisville. The loads originate out of the CSX ramp in Louisville. This is a new ramp CSX has opened and runs very efficient compared to many rail ramps around. We have been running out of this ramp for about 2 months now and every driver we have coming out of there could not be happier. They get you in and out quick. We run lanes to Frankfort, Clermont, Heaven Hill, Bardstown, Owensboro and several more. The avg pay for mile to the truck for each of these lanes is $2.15 p/m with some higher. We pay 70% of line haul, 100% FSC and 100% of all accesorials. We expect owner operators two run at least two loads a day M-F. Most appointment times start a 7:30am and then second load around 1:00pm depending on what lanes you run, Owensboro would be the one exception as it is open loading times and little further. It is very possible to run a Owensboro and then pickup one of the other lanes for a afternoon load. A owner operator can take home pay of $1500 plus a week running right around 1000 miles a week (From ramp to lane locations, the additional miles depends on were you live). These lanes are paying well enough that coming out of Cincinnati they can dead head down and back, run 3 loads and still average $1.72 p/m to the truck with dead head miles included. The furthest lane except Owensboro is 60 miles (Frankfort), all of the others are much shorter. Two loads can be accomplished in a 8 hour day. It is possible at times to run 3 loads pretty easy and which would make the take home pay more than the quoted amount above. These are all very good paying lanes. The CSX ramp is running so well down there that most headaches you deal with on container does not happen. You pick up a chassis and container in the morning and use the same one throughout the day. As you come into the rail they pop the box off and put new one on same chassis you already picked up on first load. No running around the yard looking for equipment after you have picked out your first trailer of the day. All of our lanes will be booked out 5 to 7 days in advance so it is very possible to know on Monday what you would be doing all week long, u will know what to count on for work load. We have lots of loads coming out of these ramps and need several new drivers to cover all of this consistent work load. All in all it is good pay per mile and you will not be running a ton of miles per week to make good money. We need someone that is going to be detail orientated, on time and a team player. We also need a drivers with PSP score 125 or below, good safety record. You can give us a call with the info we need to run your PSP score for free to start the process.
