Help us promote our wine brand in chain retail grocery stores in the Long Island/NYC area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a part time job. Must be sharp, quick witted, responsible, know how to sell and love WINE! Promotional experience is a plus (beer, spirits or wine).

The individual will work under our Consumer Activation Manager. Events are usually Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday during the day at grocery retail stores. You can make your own schedule!

We are a national event marketing and promotions agency seeking Wine Brand Ambassadors for events in Long Island and NYC.
These events will be mainly sampling wine so familiarity with the wine industry is a plus. The ideal candidate is someone who has promotions experience, is punctual, reliable, has a flexible schedule, is comfortable working with a variety of customers and retailers, can help promote and sell our clients brands and most of all is a great communicator.

Many of the duties/responsibilities of a brand ambassador/product specialist include:

Communication -- Effectively communicate with your manager on the details of upcoming events. Quick returned phone calls and emails, timely follow up and reporting.
Reliability -- You are on time and prepared with all supplies needed for every event and always submit your recap/reports on-time.
Organization -- Having all of the proper promotional materials needed, brand training and awareness of the product prior to your events.
Customer relations -- Friendly interaction and communication with customers and clients.
Training -- You are well versed on the products you will be promoting to help drive trial and sales.

This position is part time, you must have reliable transportation to get to the event, a computer with internet access to upload reports and recaps and a digital camera/smart phone to take pictures at events.

Compensation is $25 per hour.

Continuously improves operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to the AMF Operating Standards. Capitalizes business opportunities in the market area by executing Company marketing strategies to drive sales in league, open and managed play bowling.

Develops and maintains league business through effective relationships with league bowlers/officers, adherence to league formats, distribution of announcements of league activities, and the management of other related administrative duties.

Reviews financial reports with General Manager and helps to develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses in order to meet or exceed annual budgets.

Recruits, hires, trains and schedules hourly center staff as part of team management and development responsibilities.

Leads and influences staff through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum productivity.

Promotes positive employee relations including effective delegation of duties, fostering high staff morale, collaborating successfully with the entire management team, upholding AMF Operating Standards, and execution of the Performance Management process.

Addresses center level HR and Loss Prevention issues by collaborating with the General Manager and Support Center staff.

Ensures compliance with all applicable occupational, health, and safety regulations and laws. Creates an environment where safety comes first and all employees strictly adhere to AMF Operating Standards.

Oversees the responsibility for management and growth of the Food and Beverage segment of our business. Provides ongoing training and supervision of daily F&B operations to ensure consistent execution of AMF programs and initiatives to include: inventory of food & beverage products; implementation of systems to maintain food cost controls; monitors presentation of food product and reviews areas of concern with GM, ensures that staff is utilizing up selling techniques while providing customer service; and insures all food & beverage employees are trained and conform to the regulations of the Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission.

Ensures total center and parking lot conditions meet or exceed company standards for repair and cleanliness.


Job Requirements:
The Assistant Manager must possess a strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity, respect for all individuals (customers, vendors, and employees), solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.). The Assistant Manager must also have flexibility with scheduling to support the business as extended workdays are frequent occurrence as are nights, weekends and holidays.
The Assistant Manager must be a dedicated team player and a people developer that possesses a strong desire to grow, develop, and become a future General Manager candidate.

The skills and abilities are normally acquired through the attainment of a High School Diploma and a minimum of three years management experience in a high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue. Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:Within 14 days of employment, must become certified in the AMF specified food safety and alcohol service programs.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, and talk or hear. Babysitter needed for nights and weekends

I need a babysitter that will work nights and weekends for my wife and I, taking care of our 2 year old son. You must be reliable, responsible, and punctual.
We will need you for Fridays starting at 7pm. The weekend hours vary but usually are night-time and occasionally day hours. I know of one day off hand though that we will need to start in the morning (on Sunday May 27 from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM)

You also need to have your own transportation as we will not be providing transportation to/from our house.

Our son goes to bed at 7 PM usually so for the evening shifts you can just watch tv or bring a computer or book. He rarely wakes once he's asleep.

We will be checking references and also conducting a background check.

This is a long term position.
