FOCUS AREA: HIV+ Individuals and their partners with a focus on MSM

Overall Description:
Focus on the prevention and related needs of positive persons both newly and previously diagnosed. Ensure access to the various support services and link clients with HIV medical care and treatment. Act as the LF point of contact person with DOH around all issues related to Partner Services including partner elicitation, linkage to care and reengagement in care. Provide training, support and oversight of prevention outreach and CTR staff to ensure they introduce and support for clients and successfully link clients to the PS Coordinator. Work with case management to develop and implement an ongoing partner services intervention for existing CM clients. Conduct partner services activities to newly identified HIV+ persons; ongoing partner service activities, HIV/STD prevention outreach, counseling, testing, and referrals to high risk individuals targeting the HIV+ men who have sex with men (MSM) community; and provide individual, group and community level HIV prevention interventions. Ensure data is collected and entered to document all prevention and partner service activities.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate partner services program within all prevention and care programs
• Provide support to Life Foundation staff to ensure effective partner service activities
• Engage with and recruit members of the HIV+ MSM community to participate in partner services program including partner elicitation.
• Collaborate with SAPB PS staff to coordinate PS activities
• Facilitate HIV risk-reduction programs for the target population (HIV+ persons) to increase knowledge of and to reduce the risk of HIV transmission in the target population.
• Collaborates closely with the client services department to identify case management clients in need of partner services.
• Collaborates with the client services department to facilitate intakes for new case management clients and offer partners services.
• Provide individual, group and community level HIV/STD prevention interventions (i.e., outreach, testing and counseling), utilizing harm reduction and behavioral science models to the target population in a culturally appropriate and competent manner at times and in settings convenient to the target population, including parks, beaches, bars, private homes, and in the office.
• Collaborates with physicians and other community partners to provide and be available for referrals for P4P and partner services.
• Facilitate weekly HIV+ support groups
• Support P4P coordinator with annual PLUS workshop.
• Comply with all organizational and contractual record keeping and reporting requirements by funders of the Life Foundation's HIV prevention programs.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of HIV/STD interventions, in the preparation of brochures and other information materials, as well as advertisements and public service announcements related to HIV education for the target population.
• Remain current in HIV/STD information including viral Hepatitis related information and prevention strategies, especially those that relate to the reduction of risk of infection among the target population.
• Collaborate with other HIV prevention programs in Hawai`i, and conduct HIV/STD prevention workshops to gay/bisexual/transgendered/youth support/discussion groups and social/political organizations as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned that further the goals of the Life Foundation or that are consistent with the position of health educator in an AIDS organization.
Required Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs and other computer skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to implement behavior science models to affect change and harm reduction theory.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary to reach the target population.
• Ability to work well and thrive professionally in an atmosphere of significant diversity.

• Appropriate transportation to conduct outreach island-wide.
• Experience working with Hawai`i's ethnic communities.

Summary
This position is a Sales Engineer position responsible for supporting the most complex Commercial, Government and General Business accounts. This individual will have enterprise level assigned accounts and will be the lead SE on the account. Responsible for sales engineering support related to CPE or network solutions with a focus on convergence products. The SE will work with customers and account teams to understand a customer's business challenges and develop custom solutions they solve their business requirements and are within their budget. This position will be responsible for complex business networks typically involving multiple customer locations with a deep breadth of product requirements. This position will be responsible for designing the solution, developing a bill of materials and internal pricing using HT pricing tools. Bi-Lingual Groups Coordinator (Honolulu)
This position is the primary contact in the Groups Department for inquiries received via the website, emails, and phone calls. Group Coordinators also work in support of Sales Managers.
