JOB SUMMARY:
The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for the overall organization, sanitation, and stocking levels of all concession stands and portable stands at Fifth Third Field. He/She is directly responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels, product ordering, and equipment maintenance for the food service operation prior to and during events. Additionally, this person will schedule and direct part-time concession employees including managers, non-profit groups and warehouse staff during game day operations. The Concessions Supervisor will report directly to the Concessions Manager.

This is a full-time seasonal position starting ASAP, 2012 and lasting through the end of the baseball season in early September. The candidate will be required to work a full time schedule that includes regular office hours (Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm), all Dayton Dragons home games, and any other events held at Fifth Third Field pertaining to food service. This schedule varies and includes nights, weekends, and holidays. If necessary, PSC is often able to work around a student's class schedule during the spring semester.

The Concessions Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

•Recruiting, hiring, scheduling, managing, and training of 100+ concession/portable, warehouse employees and non-profit groups
•Event administrative duties - post game civic group evaluations, stand manager and customer feedback forms, time sheets, inventory control sheets, uniform distribution and receipt
•Attending weekly foodservice/sales dept. meetings to discuss and prepare for upcoming events
•Directly responsible for post-event inventory reconciliation with all stand managers and portable managers
•Compile product needs for concessions venues
•Event management of warehouse operations and all warehouse employees. This includes maintaining proper staff levels and security controls, as well as delivering product to locations in a timely fashion and keeping accurate inventory distribution records
•Monitoring, meeting and communicating all health codes and liquor control laws
•Daily pre-game checks and repairs as needed, including stocking levels, radio distribution and inventory control sheets, on all concession and portable equipment to ensure proper sanitation on all portable locations and stands
•Compiling purchase and sales information for end of season reports and annual budgets
•Research enhancements and needs for all food service areas
•Help with maintenance of stadium equipment and closing down of the stadium for winter


QUALIFICATIONS:
•College student entering Junior or Senior year, or recent graduate
•Foodservice/Hospitality Major (or similar)
•Prior experience in foodservice, restaurants, or catering preferred
•Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem solving skills
•Must be able to maintain strong thinking skills while under pressure and time limits
•Strong communication and people management skills
•Basic computer skills

Live Music Event Staff (Dayton, OH)

McGuffy's Live Music Venue Event Staff

Looking for motiviated, focused individuals to act as general floor staff for national events. Duties include, but are not limited to: crowd control, dispute resolution, general venue recovery, artist support. Must have valid gov't issues ID, clean work history, able to stand for long period of time, and able to work 2-4 nights per month from approximtely 6:30pm till 1am. Pay is flat rate depending on duties and responsibilities. Staff are admitted to any event on off days at venue during the duration of contract free of charge.

ATTENTION OWNER OPERATORS!!!!!!!!

CRST Malone is currently leasing on owner operators for over the road hauling. We are a 100% flatbed carrier mainly hauling coils, building materials, pipe, and machinery.

NO QUALCOMM
We are still running the Paper Logs. Dispatched via cell phone.

No out of pocket expense
$500 sign on bonus
$.59 per mile to get to orientation
$500 retention bonus after 60 days


Get Paid More, Sooner
We pay out twice per week, on Wednesday and Friday, 75% of the line haul, 100% of the fuel surcharge, and 100% of any miscellaneous fees. Currently, our fleet as a whole averages $2.02 per loaded mile. In our power lanes, deadhead is around 12%. Our average load is 500-700 miles.

Fuel Discount Program
At TA, Petro, Love's, and Pilots, you can save up to $.60 a gallon on fuel, depending on the state. The fleet average is $.40 per gallon savings.


We are 100% Owner Operator. You NEVER have to compete with company drivers.

No age restrictions on tractors or trailers, as long as it passes a DOT inspection, it's ok with us.

New to flatbed? We will train you.

Bring your flatbed or lease one from us.

Need plates, permits, IFTA? We have a program to accommodate that.

If you have one truck or a fleet, we have room to accommodate your qualified drivers.

At the completion of orientation, no delay on finding loads. Start running and making money a few hours after orientation



Qualifications
-MINIMUM 25 years of age - Need 6 months + verifiable OTR Class A CDL experience
-Will consider less than 25 years old with 2 years verifiable OTR and 6 months Flatbed experience
-OTR is 5 states or more with a tractor and a 45 ft or longer trailer
-NO DRUG CONVICTIONS EVER: POSSESSION OR sale of any kind of illegal drug or substance
-No DUI in the past 5 yrs - none in commercial vehicle ever
-No more than 1 DUI in the past 15 yrs - 2 max in lifetime
-No serious moving violations in the past 36 months
-No Felonies in the past 10 years - 1 lifetime
-No following too close or improper lane change violations
-No rollovers (ever)
-Tractor needs to pass DOT Inspection and be in good condition mechanically

Commercial Carpenters (Dayton )

CLP Resources is currently looking for a skilled Carpenter to work nights in, and around Dayton greater area. This is a temporary job opportunity lasting about 3 months. This position requires travel up to 50 miles around Metro area, qualified candidate will be working at a different restaurant every night. Job consists of vending type installation with ability to patch flooring and walls. Previous soda fountain/vending machine installation experience a plus.
