Loss Prevention Supervisor, DC (HEBRON, KY)
Job DescriptionResponsible for protecting the assets of the company/distribution centers and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. Responsible for the recruiting, training, developing and supervising Loss Prevention Agents/Investigators. General oversight responsibility for all campus activities relating to loss prevention concerns; in addition to direct campus responsibility, secondary support to the Campus Loss Prevention Business Leader (RLPM or Director) regarding oversight to third party and pooler/shipping vendors. Recover assets and/or make safe apprehensions following company apprehension policies. . Assist in the recruiting hiring and training of Loss Prevention Agents/Investigators. Develop and administer Individual Development Objectives, quarterly check-ins and provide feedback for annual review process for Loss Prevention Agent/Investigators.Support the development of awareness campaigns by promoting available resources (Code of Business Conduct Hotline, Loss Prevention awareness center, etc.).Participate in and support the on-boarding process for all new hires within area of responsibility. Work with supervisory and managerial personnel to ensure operational compliance.Work with Distribution Center Operations personnel to complete operational audits, ensuring that physical security standards are maintained.Work with management to ensure safe environment.Qualifications

We are looking to add several more owner operators to our current fleet. Our company hauls 95% intermodal rail freight. Freight originates from Cincinnati and Georgetown rail yards (CSX and NS).The rail containers are taken to be loaded at the following locations: Frankfort, Clermont, Heaven Hill, Louisville, Lexington and Owensboro to name a few. We also haul to locations in Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia. Majority of our freight is day trips. Most drivers' home nights, but all home on weekends.
Our busy season is ramping up right now and will run through the middle of December. We will usually have one slow week or two in June every year after the holiday. The current owner operators we have average 7 to 10 loads a week. With owner operator pay being after deductions (plate usage, insurance, escrow, workman's comp and fuel usage) between $1,100 to $1,700 per week. Our lanes average $1.55 to $1.75 per all miles ran. Sometimes we do manage to takes some loads that pay higher.
Arl Transport offers a plate program and insurance programs for bobtail and liability on your truck. For the plate program they require a deposit of $575 and deduction of $45 per week for usage. Sometimes ARL does have plates to buyout the remaining term. If you have your own plate and insurance you can use that and skip the program. All owner operators are paid weekly on comdata and fuel is purchased on comdata. We pay 70% of the linehaul, 100% of FSC and 100% assessorial charges.
The right candidate would need to have a PSP score below 125 and minimum of two years verifiable work history driving tractor trailer. Most don't know their PSP score. This is the first thing we would need to do to start the new hire process. We can run this score for free with the personal information you provide us. Your truck will also need to have a passing inspection. ARL pays for all passing inspections. They do require quarterly inspections in which they pay for. They also pay for any drug testing for new hire and random. ARL transport is at the forefront of safety. When the government does decided to put a final score on the PSP on who can drive and who can't, we are ready for it to start now as no matter what number they put on it we are well below. This means more freight than we all can handle because the average drivers PSP is going to be higher than the government standard. Many drivers will have to wait months or years for their score to go down so they can drive again. This is going to be big in the trucking industry and when it happens we will not skip a beat.
Prior intermodal experience is a plus. This is not the hardest job in the world nor is it the easiest. You will hook and unhook from a trailer around 3 times a day. When we show up at the shipper they get 2 hours to load free and detention starts after the two hours. Paid at $50 per hour to the truck. We dispatch our loads depending on performance of the driver. If you work with us we will work with you and try to get you the amount of loads you desire. We have some weeks were every driver is averages 7 loads and some weeks were drivers can get 12 loads. Really depends on how hard you want to work most of the time. Sometimes we have to spread the loads to everyone so all have something to do. At those times we also consider the driver performance when this happens. It does not happen often but it does happen. Most of all we are honest people and will tell you how it is. If you are preforming we will make sure you have the loads you desire. Most of the time we don't have forced dispatch but there are some occasions that we do. If we don't keep the customer happy we lose our work and everyone is out money in the future with the work load they give us.

Position Summary:
Performs general store operations duties, including merchandising, selling, cashiering, product assembly, inventory control,

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required. Must be 18 years of age.
2. Minimum one year retail sales experience preferred.
3. Mobility to move freely throughout sales floor and stockroom on a continual basis throughout the workday required. Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds required.
4. Ability to work at least 40 hours per week. Work schedule varies each week including nights, weekends and holidays.
5. Demonstrated visual merchandising skills preferred.
6. Strong customer service and communication skills required.
7. Basic PC skills required.
